my dad has been a widow for 5 to 6 years know and he just resently started seeing someone.. i am happy for him but scraed to have a new person in my life... people keep askingme if they are togeather meaning Boyfriend and girlfriend but when they ask me that i get pist off because i feel like my dad is cheating on my mom still, what do i do?

That is very normal for you to feel that way. But you need to remind yourself that he has put his personal life on the back burner for so many years. As sad as it is, your mother is not here and your dad deserves to be happy. Perhaps you should try to bond with your dad's new girlfriend. I am sure your mother would want for you to have a woman in your life that cares about you.

You need to remind yourself that your dad has waited a long time to start dating, and that he deserves to be happy. Be honest with your dad about your feelings, tell him you are worried about a new person in both your lives and scared he might get hurt. When others ask you ... tell them they need to ask him, as it's his business.
Your mother would want your father to be happy.
i know how you feel. It is a hard step to go from your dad seeing noone to havin someone you barely know step into your life. You cuold probably tell your dad how you feel. If you are uncomfortable with this, talk to the g/f and just tell her that you don't want her replacing your mom. if not, its kind of hard, but u probably just have to deal with it. talking to like a phscologist at school can really help too.
Remember, it has been 5 to 6 years since your dad has dated anyone. Your dad is just looking for a little companionship. This woman he is seeing is just someone he can have a nice time with.
