Dating Men, Lots and Lots of them, ok?

If you are dating a guy you shouldn't assume it is exclusive until you have that talk. But should you ask your date if he is dating other people or not? Should you tell that you're dating other people or not? We've been casually dating for a few months and I'm at the point where I wouldn't mind taking it to the next level but how do you do that, just come out and say "I'd like to be exclusive?" This seems scary since I'm not really sure if he is dating others, I'm guessing probably since I have. Suggestions?

You're free and clear to bring this up 1) once you're having sex with the person, 2) if you're seriously planning on having sex with them, or 3) if you find yourself developing serious feelings for them.

These serve as a guide for when to have the exclusive talk. After all, if *none* of the above are true, then what is it you're really looking for? A pal to grab coffee with, who is "exclusively" yours? That would be ridiculous.

okay... so how do you introduce each other to other people? does he introduce you as his g/f or a friend??? and if all else fails... just ask.. am I your g/f?? it's been a couple of months and I was just wondering if we're exclusive...... don't tell him about who you've been dating as well.. and don't ask him who he's been dating either... that will lead to more complications than anything else.. and possible jealous acts as well... what if he didn't go out with anyone else
